On December 7, 1945, Mroud Aboud, claimant, was employed by the Aluminum Seal Company and while engaged in shoveling sweepings from the floor of his employer’s plant, slipped and fell. As he fell his groin struck the edge of .a machine and he immediately felt sharp pains in the abdominal area. He ceased work at once and was then removed to the plant infirmary where he was later examined by the company physician.
