The sole question presented on this appeal is the right of the Michigan Trust Company, a foreign corporation, to act as trustee, and, as such, to have distributed to it the residue of the estate of Myra Josephine Wellings, deceased. The material facts are brought here in an agreed statement. The decedent died on September 6, 1920, in the county of Los Angeles. At the time of her death she was a resident of that county, and left, surviving, her granddaughters, nieces, and nephews residing in California and elsewhere.
