By this appeal the defendant, Edwards,' seeks to reverse a judgment for $139.75, recovered against him in the municipal court of Chicago by the plaintiff, Bolkhardt, in an action brought by the latter, based on a claim for. damages sustained by his automobile in a collision with an automobile driven by the defendant, which collision was alleged to be the result of the defendant’s negligence.

The only witness who testified to the circumstances of the collision, on behalf of the plaintiff, was the plaintiff’s wife. At the time of the accident she was driving the plaintiff’s car and her…
