Catherine Thomas, administratrix of the estate of Brit Thomas, deceased, brought this action at law, claiming that decedent, while in the employ of defendant company, suffered a diseased condition of the lungs, due to the inhalation of dust and fumes during a course of years and known as silicosis or pneumoconiosis, causing his death.
