Woodrow Anderson (Movant) was charged with and convicted by a jury of robbery in the first degree and armed criminal action, for which he was sentenced to two concurrent terms of twenty years’ imprisonment. The convictions and sentences were affirmed by this Court on direct appeal. State v. Anderson, 958 S.W.2d 646 (Mo.App.1997).

On November 27, 2000, Movant filed a timely pro se motion for post-conviction relief. Thereafter, counsel was appointed and an amended Rule 29.15 motion was filed March 5, 2001. An evidentiary hearing was held on June 7, 2001. The…
