In the year 1944 the plaintiff and its connecting carriers transported quantities of fuel oil distillate for the United States from Baytown, Texas, to Edmonds and Richmond Beach, two points of destination within the State of Washington. In all there were 206 shipments of this commodity; 177 went directly from Bay-town to their ultimate destination, and 29 others were originally consigned to Seattle, Washington, of which all but one 1 were reconsigned from there to either Edmonds or Richmond Beach.
