VAN GRAAFEILAND, Circuit Judge:

Leed Architectural Products, Inc. appeals from a summary judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Daly, J.) enforcing a 1988 arbitration award in a labor grievance proceeding. We reverse.

Leed is a Connecticut corporation with its principal place of business in Hamden, Connecticut. At the time of the award at issue, Local 6674 of the United Steelworkers of America was the bargaining representative of the production and maintenance employees at the company’s Hamden plant.
