Plaintiff, Mark Packowski, appeals by right the circuit court’s order granting summary disposition for defendant, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 951, under MCR 2.116(C)(4), and an order denying plaintiff s motion for reconsideration. Because we *134agree with the circuit court that federal preemption applies to plaintiffs remaining claim, we affirm.
