Lawrence Blum died testate in Washington county, Mississippi, owning, at the time of his death, the legal title to about two thousand acres of land, known as the Mounds Plantation, which was formerly owned by the deceased’s father and one Nathan Goldstein. His estate was being administered in the chancery court of Washington county, when the appellee, Planters ’ Bank & Trust Company, a creditor of the estate, filed in said proceedings a petition, under the provisions of section 1693, Code 1930, alleging that the personal property of the estate was insufficient to pay the debts, and praying…
