The plaintiff, Robert Sanders, appeals from the district court’s 1 dismissal of his pro se complaint as frivolous under 28 U.S.C. § 1915(d) (1982). We affirm.

I. Facts

The plaintiff was sentenced to two years in prison for mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341 (1982), and began serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) at Lexington, Kentucky, pursuant to a court order that he receive medical treatment, in May of 1983. In April of 1984, the plaintiff was transferred to the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri.
