Defendant (Appellant) was convicted of Rape, Ind.Code § 35-42-4-l(a) (Burns 1979), Criminal Confinement, Ind.Code § 35-42-3-3(a) (Burns Supp.1982), and Criminal Deviate Conduct, Ind.Code § 35-42-4-2(a) (Burns 1979) and sentenced to a total of forty (40) years imprisonment.
