These two cases present appeals by both complainant and defendants from the judgment of the Circuit Court.
Complainant, a corporation, organized under the laws of the state of Maine, filed its bill in this case, alleging, among other things, that in May, 1904, it acquired a leasehold interest for mining purposes in a certain described 40 acres of land; said leasehold interest running for a term of 10 years from the date thereof.
