ELLIS, District Judge.
In this Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”) 1 suit, plaintiff, an employee of a private food services contractor for the Marine Corps, sues the United States for injuries she suffered in the course of performing her food preparation duties in the kitchen at the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia.
