This matter is before the court on automatic and direct review of defendant’s sentence of death for seven counts of aggravated murder. Defendant pleaded guilty to the aggravated murder of his wife, Mary Jane Longo, and his two-year-old daughter Madison. At trial, a jury convicted him of also murdering his four-year-old son Zachery and his three-year-old daughter Sadie. For the reasons discussed below, we affirm the judgment of conviction and the sentence of death.
