The defendant, Todd Rizzo, appeals from the judgment rendered by a three judge panel, following a penalty phase hearing held pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 1997) § 53a-46a,1 sentencing him to death for the murder of a thirteen year old victim, Stanley G. Edwards.
