Lorin W. Ross, who is one of the appellants, and seventy-three others filed, on February 24, 1920, in the office of the clerk of the Hendricks Circuit Court, a, petition for the establishment and construction of a public drain in Hendricks and Boone counties, as provided in §6167 et seq. Burns 1926, §6141 et seq. Burns 1914. The petition was docketed on April 17, 1920, and was referred to the drainage commissioners on January 4, 1921.
