This appeal presents several challenges to Arkansas’ rape shield statute. M.M., a juvenile, was charged in Lonoke County Juvenile Court with the rape of J.H. and sexual misconduct with A.H.1 The rape charges were filed pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 5-14-103(a)(4) (Repl. 1997), which provides that a person commits rape if he engages in sexual intercourse or deviate sexual activity with another person who is less than fourteen years of age.
