Defendants in error instituted an action of ejectment in the Circuit Court of Craig county against plaintiffs in error, claiming to be the owners in fee of a certain tract of land, described by metes and bounds in their declaration, which, as they allege, plaintiffs in error (defendants in the court below) unlawfully withheld from them.
