The defendant is charged with having violated certain regulations of the New York State War Council which, in turn, adopted ceiling prices established by the United States Office of Price Administration, in that, on June 18,1943, at 334 St. Marks Place in the county of Richmond, she offered for sale one pound of Crisco at twenty-nine cents per pound when the ceiling price was twenty-seven cents per pound and one twenty-ounce can of White Rose tomato juice at twelve cents when the ceiling price for the can was ten cents.
