This is an appeal from an order of the court below affirming a decision of the Workmen’s Compensation Board whérein the claimant was awarded compensation for the loss of an eye under §306(e) of the Workmen’s Compensation Law.

The board found the following fact: “Tenth : That prior to the accident of September 8, 1953, the claimant suffered an injury to his left eye, but he was able to see light and large objects with his left eye at the time of the accident of September 8, 1953, so that his sight was better with both eyes than it was using the right eye alone, and…
