CALLAHAN, Circuit Judge:

Petitioners Reyes Abigail Linares-Gon-zales (“Linares”) and Maribel Preciado (“Preciado”) challenge the denial of their applications for cancellation of removal. The immigration judges (“IJ”) denied then-applications, and the Bureau of Immigration Appeals (“BIA”) affirmed, finding, among other things, that they were ineligible for cancellation of removal because their convictions for identity theft under California Penal Code (“CPC”) §§ 530.5(a) and (d)(2) were categorical crimes involv ing moral turpitude (“CIMT”). 1 We have jurisdiction pursuant to 8 U.S.C. §…
