This is an original application for a writ of prohibition. The petitioner relates that suit was instituted by Ida C. Osburne in the court below against relator, a resident of the state of Missouri, for damages in the sum of ten thousand dollars for the alleged alienation of the affections of her husband. She filed her affidavit to the effect that the relator is a nonresident of the state of Washington, and proceeded to publish summons.
