Defendant pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of heroin for purpose of sale (Health & Saf. Code, § 11351), and filed a motion to suppress evidence under Penal Code section 1538.5. The motion was denied and defendant’s petition seeking review by writ in this court was denied. After several continuances for the purpose of retaining private counsel, defendant failed to appear for his scheduled trial.
