*939In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Diamond, J.), entered May 20, 2011, which denied their motion, in effect, pursuant to CPLR 4404 (a) to set aside a jury verdict in favor of the defendants and against them on the issue of liability and for judgment as a matter of law, or, alternatively, to set aside the jury verdict on the issue of liability as contrary to the weight of the evidence and for a new trial.
Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
