This case is absolutely controlled against the plaintiffs in error by the rulings 'announced in the headnotes. We shall accordingly limit this opinion to a statement of such only of the facts as may be necessary to show how the questions upon which those rulings are made arose, and to a brief discussion of the law applicable.
