This is an action to recover for personal. injuries sustained by plaintiff while a customer in the vegetable department of a store conducted by defendant in the city of Portland. The amended complaint alleges that the injuries were caused by the negligence of the defendant in permitting some green vegetable matter to lie on the floor in one of the aisles on which plaintiff slipped and fell.
