This is an appeal and cross-appeal from the referee's report recommending that the license of Jeremy C. Shea to practice law in Wisconsin be suspended for three months as discipline for professional misconduct. The referee determined that Attorney Shea used for personal purposes a legal fee to which his law firm was entitled, misrepresented to his law partners that he had not sent a client an invoice for services and that he had not been paid pursuant to that invoice and, for purposes of his own financial gain, misrepresented to…
