This appeal involves an eminent domain proceeding brought by the State of Minnesota to acquire a parcel of land in the city of St. Paul for trunk highway purposes.
The property in question consisted of two platted lots upon which were maintained a gasoline service station and a house and frame garage. These were located on the northwest corner of the intersection of St. Anthony and Snelling Avenues, with approximately 80 feet of frontage on Snelling Avenue and 126 feet on St. Anthony, and were zoned commercial.
