A. INTRODUCTION AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

This case, wherein consumer Debtors seek to set aside a sheriff’s sale of their home as a fraudulent conveyance on the basis of 11 U.S.C. §§ 522(h), 522(g)(1), and 548(a)(2), presents a relatively simple issue of whether the Debtors have proven that they failed to receive “reasonably equivalent value” in the “transfer” effected by the sale and a very close issue as to whether the “transfer” effected by the sale was made “within one year before the date of the filing of the petition.” Following previous decisions in…
