Appellant, Willie Preston Parker, was indicted for second-degree child sexual abuse, D.C.Code § 22-4109 (1996), and attempted second-degree child sexual abuse, D.C.Code §§ 22^1109, -4118, stemming from two separate incidents involving two different minor boys, M.S., a twelve-year-old, and T.K., a thirteen-year-old. Following a jury trial, appellant was convicted of the first charge, but acquitted of the second.
