HARRIS, Judge:

During January through March 2000, a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members tried and convicted the appellant, contrary to his pleas, of unpremeditated murder, assault with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, assault with a dangerous weapon (knife), and obstruction of justice, in violation of Articles 118,128, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. *895§§ 918, 928, and 934.
