T. J. Hamilton presented his petition for the writ of habeas corpus to the judge of the superior court of Richmond county. It alleged, among other things, as follows: The plaintiff is restrained of his liberty by J. T. Plunkett, the jailer of the county, who is detaining him in the common- jail.
