MEMORANDUM OPINION

CACHERIS, District Judge.

In this wrongful death action, plaintiff seeks a declaratory judgment that her decedent’s uninsured/underinsured motorist policy (“UM policy”) issued by defendant, Aetna Casualty & Surety Company (“Aet-na”), provides coverage in addition to workmen’s compensation benefits. 1 This case raises issues concerning the relative scope of protection provided by the Virginia Workmen’s Compensation Act, Section 65.-1-1, et seq., Va.Code, and the Virginia Uninsured Motorist Statute, Section 38.2-2206, Va.Code.
