ALLEN, Justice.
Gary Lynn Murphy appeals his conviction for the murder of his wife. After finding appellant guilty, the jury assessed punishment at life and a $10,000 fine. In three grounds of error appellant contends that the trial court erred: (1) in excluding the testimony of a proposed defense witness regarding the victim’s relationships with other men; (2) by admitting testimony at punishment on unadjudicated extraneous offenses; and (3) by failing to submit an instruction to the jury on the law of self-defense.
