The Marion Trust and Savings Bank was closed by the Auditor of Public Accounts on April 12, 1930. Thereafter the bank was in charge of O. A. James, a representative of the Auditor, until January 8, 1931, when he was appointed receiver to liquidate its affairs. On January 12, 1931, a bill in chancery was filed in the circuit court of Williamson county on relation of the State Auditor for the purpose of liquidating the affairs of the bank.
