Appellant, Otto Cloe, was tried and convicted before a justice of the peace of Moultrie county for violating section 1 of ordinance 194 of the revised ordinances of the city of Sullivan, the appellee in this case. An appeal was prosecuted to the circuit court of that county, where a trial was had by a jury, which returned a verdict finding appellant guilty and a fine of $75 was assessed against him. Motions for a new trial and in arrest of judgment were made and overruled and judgment entered on the verdict against appellant for $75 and costs of suit. He prayed an appeal from that judgment,…
