In this patent infringement suit, the plaintiff, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling, Inc., alleges that the defendants, Stena Drilling Limited (“Stena”), Stena Drillmax Limited (“Stena I”), and Stena Drillmax III Limited (“Stena III”) (collectively, the “Stena defendants”), have infringed four Transocean patents relating to “multi-activity” offshore exploration and drilling.
