This is a case involving procedures under the Washington mortgages and trust receipts act (RCW 61.24), more commonly known as the Washington trust deed act.

Plaintiff commenced an unlawful detainer action on October 30, 1970, pursaunt to the provisions of RCW 61.24.060, to obtain possession of certain real property which had been purchased by plaintiff at a trustee’s sale on September 25, 1970. The trust deed was signed by both defendants on March 7, 1969 and was taken as additional security for a note to plaintiff in the sum of $45,184.45.
