I. Background
On January 17, 1992, after considering active, spirited and competitive bids, this Court approved the sale, pursuant to section 363(b) of the Bankruptcy Code, 11 U.S.C. §§ 101-1330 (1993), of substantially all assets and liabilities of LTV Vehicle Corporation, formerly known as AM General Corporation, and Amland Corporation (LTV Vehicle Corporation and Amland Corporation are collectively referred to as “Old AMG”) to Ren Acquisition Corporation (“RAC”).
