In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant Mario Rappa appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Milano, J.), dated May 17, 2002, which denied his motion, denominated as one for summary judgment, but which was, in effect, for reargument of his prior motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint and all cross claims insofar as asserted against him.

Ordered that the appeal is dismissed, with costs, as no appeal lies from an order denying reargument.
