This action was brought by the plaintiff, who is a minor and sues by her next friend, to recover damages for injuries alleged to have been caused by the defendant's negligence. The case turns upon the correctness of the rulings of the court upon the evidence, and so much of the testimony of the plaintiff as we need consider was as follows:
