This is an original petition in habeas corpus filed by Odis E. Pruitt wherein he alleges he had been and is at the present time unlawfully restrained of his liberty by the Honorable Jerome J. Waters, warden of the State Penitentiary of the State of Oklahoma, under and by virtue of several certain judgments rendered against him in Oklahoma county, Oklahoma. His petition states that a writ of habeas corpus was sought in the district court of Honorable W. A. Lackey, Pittsburg county, Oklahoma, and by said court denied.
