The Boatmen’s National Bank of the City of St. Louis, executor of the estate of Hugh W. Thomasson, deceased, appeals from a judgment of the circuit court of that city entered on appeal from the probate court. The cause concerns the validity of a prior judgment of the circuit court — for $15,000 — rendered against the appellant executor and in favor of Dr. Francis M. Barnes in 1940, in a suit brought by the latter directly in the circuit court for services rendered by him as a psychiatric expert to the former administratrices of the estate of said decedent in certain litigation before his will…
