Ace West Trucking, Inc. (Ace West) appeals from a judgment of the Denver District Court affirming a decision of the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to grant a motor vehicle contract carrier permit to Briant Hacking, doing business as G & K Trucking (G & K). 1 The district court, referring to the standard of review contained in C.R.C.P. 106(a)(4)(I), ruled that the PUC did not exceed its jurisdiction or abuse its discretion in granting the permit and that there was competent and adequate evidence in the record to support the PUC’s decision.
