On Class Certification

On July 17, 1978, LTV announced that trading in its securities would be suspended for 10 days due to possible adjustments that might later be made to the value of its steel subsidiary’s inventories as then reflected on its books. On October 13, 1978, LTV announced a restatement of its earnings for the years 1974 through 1977.
