STOKES, Justice.
On the 14th of October, 1933, Owen M. Murray, receiver of the North Texas Trust Company, recovered in the District Court of the 95th Judicial District at Dallas a judgrpent against appellant, E. C. Carver', in the sum of $674.80 upon a paving certificate that had been issued by the authorities of the city of Perryton, Ochiltree County, for paving the street in front of appellants’ residential homestead.
