EFFRON, Judge:

In accordance with his pleas, appellant was convicted by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members of conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and of one specification each of use, distribution, and importation of anabolic steroids, in violation of Articles 81 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 881 and 912a, respectively. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 6 months, forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for 2 months, and reduction to E-3. The convening authority approved these results, and…
