This case comes to us by transfer from the Kansas City Court of Appeals upon the certificate of one of its judges that the opinion of that court is contrary to a previous decision of the St. Louis Court of Appeals. [Burg v. Knox, 54 S.W.2d 797.] In these circumstances it is our duty to determine the cause "as in case of jurisdiction obtained by ordinary appellate process"…
