This is an appeal by plaintiff (“Ziebart”), said in the notice of appeal to be “from the final judgment entered on the first day of August, 1984.” The five claims in the complaint were for infringement of registered trademarks and service marks (presumably claimed to be in violation of 15 U.S.C. § 1114(1)), for “common law infringement”, for “common law unfair competition”, for “false designation of origin”, said to be in violation of 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a), and for “dilution”, said to be in violation of the Illinois Anti-Dilution Act, Ill.Rev.Stat. ch. 140, § 22…
