SEAR, District Judge.
On July 19, 1988, plaintiffs Frank Weicks, Keith Turner, Rannie Mushatt, Jeff Sislo, Louis Lejarza, and Lloyd Clark, each of whom is a member of the New Orleans Police Department, filed a verified complaint on behalf of themselves and all others similarly situated against the New Orleans Police Department, the City of New Orleans, and Warren G. Woodfork, Sr., the Superintendent of the New Orleans Police Department.
